Floor insulation for garden and sauna houses: 21-24 m²

Each of our floor insulation packages is packed to the respective square meterage requirements and includes the following products.

Contents:

• Styrodur® XPS rigid foam boards
• Insulation grain made of expanded perlite
• Vapor barrier film in cut
• Trace-holding adhesive tape for vapor barrier film
• cutter knife
• Free folding rule

Delivery period:

1 - 2 weeks

Processing:

1. Place the foundation timbers of your garden shed on your concrete/wooden foundation.
2. Use the cutter knife to cut the Styrodur panels to fit the spaces between the foundation timbers and place them on the foundation.
3. Open the bags of insulation granules and fill the cavities between the joists and on the Styrodur boards. Our tip : Excess granules can be used to loosen the soil in the garden.

4. Use a roof batten or similar tool to smooth the surface.
5. Now apply the vapor barrier and ensure that the cut surfaces of the film are sealed airtight with adhesive tape
